Seven creatures in the pen. Five go through the gate. Every one bends the score its own way โ€” order is everything.

How to play
  1. The score starts small. Send five of the seven creatures through the gate, one after another, and each works its power on the score in turn.
  2. Powers tangle: some make the next creature act twice, some copy the one before them, some only double if they go last. Which five you pick โ€” and the order you send them โ€” decides everything. The rail keeps count as you build, so you can watch each power land before you release.
  3. Each day draws its pen from one pack โ€” the farmyard, myth, the eldritch, the cryptids โ€” in rotation. The packs share a family of powers at different strengths, so what you learn carries over, but the sums never do.
  4. You get three runs at it. Your best run counts, measured against the day's one perfect run. Everyone herds the same creatures.
